Cinco de Mayo is a celebration that originated in Puebla Mexico. This celebration is often mixed up with Mexico independence. On may 5th of 1862 the battle of Puebla against France had finally been over. Mexico had won victory. Ever since México and now some part of U.S. celebrates Cinco de Mayo because of the victory they had over France.
My family does not celebrated Cinco de mayo. We think that it is a minor holiday and we do not do anything on this day. This picture that I uploaded was when i went on my trip to Mexico. I added this picture because it was taken in Mexico.
